Sandy Puc' Family Tour 2010

Yesterday was a very eventful day for me. A fellow photographer and I went to Sandy Puc' Family Tour in Grand Rapids. I gained SO much knowledge I can't even begin to tell all of you. All I can say is to expect big things out of Natty J Photography this year in the way of family portraiture. Last year I attended the Tots 2 Teens Tour and did a record number of infant and children portraits, but I'm always trying to broaden my horizons and families will be on this years agenda!!

Also, I will be developing a new business along with J. Lynn Imagery strictly for our fundraising events. Rather than explaining to every person that walks in who is Natty J Photography and who is J. Lynn Imagery, we will be one. Now all we need is a name, feel free to input your opinion on this!!

EMU's Exposure 2010 - CooLHeadS

I was asked by the owner of CooLHeadS to come photograph their runway debut at Exposure 2010 held on Eastern Michigan University's campus in the Quirk Theater. I have a feeling that they are going to be HUGE, just wait! They received the loudest applause and won the Most Innovative Design. Congrats to the CooLHeadS team and good luck in your future ventures.

Well it's more like a sun-eyed family with this bunch! This trio were such cuties and natural models. What a great way to spend a gorgeous April day!

Two of my derby sisters were kind enough to let me go wild with their portraits and I'm pretty sure I laughed more than I took pictures.

Dangerous

I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather we've been having in Michigan and take some portraits the other day. Usually I avoid words of any sort in my images, drilled into my head by my favorite instructor Don Werthmann, but my subject insisted and it ended up being my favorite image of the day.

Shower the Bride with Love

I was asked to photograph Bailey's bridal shower along with her rehearsal dinner and wedding, well her shower was yesterday and I had a blast! Great food and amazing women all at the same time, what could be better?!
