If you can't play nice, play ROLLER DERBY!

I've decided that my schedule wasn't jam packed enough and decided to pick up the new revived sport of roller derby! I've joined The Jack Town Rollers, skate name Miss Mae Hurt. I haven't been on skates since I was the ripe young age of about 12, so after much shaking, falling, and almost-splits, I came to the conclusion that my skates and I needed a proper introduction...a photo shoot.

Growing Like a Weed

Annora Faye's three months old now and has made leaps and bounds since the last time I photographed her. She's alert (and not screaming at me =P).

They're Starting to Grow on Me

When I first started doing photography I have to admit I was terrified of children, I was so used to dealing with animals who work for food and mostly pay attention, the mere idea of working with a child horrified me. But since I've been working more and more with them, I realize they aren't that bad...actually pretty fun. You'd never know by these pictures, but these two guys were non-stop. Climbing all over me and trying to escape the camera. Kept me on my toes and I definitely appreciate the great practice I got!

All Smiles

Three month old Brylee was full of curiousity and smiles, plus she's a real natural infront of the camera. Her arrival made her big brother Bryson exstatic, he loves her dearly and is already being the greatest big brother any girl could ask for.

But while Brylee's being tended to, Bryson never forgets his first best friend, Buddy. These two are inseperable. There's nothing like the love of a boy and his dog.

Thaddeus is Three Months Old

I've been following this little peanut since he was in his mother's belly still and it's absolutely amazing to see how he's grown in the short time since he's been born. If you remember he was the 14 day old smiling baby I photographed back in October, now he's full of giggles and smiles. I'm sure I'll blink and six months will be here, but I can't wait!!
