She Has Arrived...a Little Ahead of Schedule

I met the precious Annora Faye just over a month ago, but she was still in her momma's belly. She wasn't supposed to greet us until the end of November, but I guess she was as excited about Halloween as I was and arrived on October 28th. She wasn't too excited about the paparazzi being at her home, but I adore these pictures, especially the last one =)

Fall Family

How cute is this family?! I absolutely LOVE that they included their pit bull Snickers because we all know that our pets are part of our family too.

Upcoming Events

The first event is at the Jackson Coffee Co. to help benefit the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep foundation. The charity was started by Sandy Puc, a photographer from Colorado. Photographer's from all over the US volunteer their time to photograph still born and terminally ill children/infants, so their parents can cherish their time spent together forever. Very moving and the pictures are stunning, I cry everytime I look at them!!!


This second event benefits The Buster Foundation, a pit bull education and rescue group. It will be held on Dec. 7th & 8th at Mantis Pet Supply in Ypsilanti. Prints start at $5 for 4x6 and packages begin at $15. Bring your fur children by to get their picture taken with Santa Paws!! Also, don't forget to purchase your 2010 Buster Foundation Calendar, they make great gifts for the pit bull lover in your life!

Brandon 2010

I am really glad the weather decided to take a break today and let me get a session in. I spent the afternoon with this gentleman, Brandon - Napoleon Class of 2010. We went all around Jackson and enjoyed the fall weather, taking advantage of the beautiful background it gave us.

The Freaks Come Out in the Studio

My good friend, Slava loves to help me out by modeling for me. Well, the last assignment in Studio Portraits we had to capture a persons character. Slava is a very multi-talented person, she does burlesque, yoga, dancing, glass walking, and all kinds of other things. Plus, compared to the average everyday person, she's a little out there so I wanted to capture her talents and her weirdness all at the same time...I think these pictures were pretty successful in doing so.

Ben & Jenn 10-17-09

I have to admit, this was the most fun I ever had photographing a wedding!!! These guys were hilarious and allowed ample time for photos (all you looking to get married, take notes)!!! We had two hours between the ceremony and dinner to get photos, and with all the gorgeous fall colors Michigan so greatly provides for us, we had a blast gettings some pretty amazing images.

Special Delivery!!

These proud parents-to-be were great to work with. This is my second time shooting portraits with them, the first was their way cute pit bull Fiona (she's Miss July in the Buster Calendar)! They are expecting a little baby girl, Annora (love the name!) in late November. I can't wait to meet the little peanut and photograph her.
